About Me.

Hey there! I’m Eridian, or Erin, and my pronouns are she and ey. I'm a therapist (LMFT-A) who is personally queer, trans, and neurodivergent. I believe that my own lived experiences give me a unique perspective and understanding when working with clients who identify as queer, trans, and kinky.

As someone who has navigated the journey of self-discovery and acceptance, I know firsthand how important it is to have a safe and supportive space where you can explore your own identity, desires, and challenges. I strive to create that kind of environment for every client I work with.

I hold a Masters in Clinical Counseling with a research focus on serving queer needs and non-monogamous systems. My approach is grounded in empathy, acceptance, and a non-judgmental perspective. When I'm not in the counseling room, I enjoy spending time with my three partners, playing card and board games, and volunteering for a non-profit game studio.

Why
Koto
Therapy?

Koto Therapy holds a special place in my heart as it is named in honor of my late mentor, who was deeply connected to the koto instrument. Inspired by their profound influence, I decided to incorporate the therapeutic journey with the melodic essence of the koto. Just like the intricate wood grain that adorns the koto, therapy is a deeply personal and unique experience. It is a journey of exploring one's identity, marked by the individual fingerprints of each client.

Through Koto Therapy, I provide a safe and compassionate space where clients can find solace, navigate personal growth, and embrace their authentic selves. By incorporating the koto's symbolism of healing, resilience, and harmony, I strive to carry forward my mentor's legacy and offer a therapeutic experience that honors the beauty and individuality found within each person's journey of self-discovery.
